Mrs. Kutty Padhmini
Mrs. Kutty Padhmini, Director of Vaishnave Mediaa Works Limited, is a National Award winning actress (for Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum), producer and a veteran media personality who has over 30 years experience in television and film production. She is also the Trustee of South Indian Film Artists Association, Vice President of Television Association, Executive Committee member of South Indian Film Chamber and Vice President of Film and Television Producer’s Guild of South India (GUILD) among others. She is the first female Producer in South.

As An Actor And Producer
A prolific and prominent South Indian Movie actress, she started of as a child star in her debut film and starred in over 175 films across 6 languages and two English international films for ‘Metro Golden Mayor’. Her talent of being a linguist enabled her to explore many industries within the Indian film fraternity, acting in movies ranging all the way from North India to South India. She established her own production house – Vaishnave Mediaa Works Limited, and has since helmed several popular shows and serials, in the capacity of producer, director, writer and actress including the acclaimed Krishnadasi; Ramanujar etc.
Her sheer love and admiration for Tamil culture and values, was one of the main reasons for her to produce several award winning and other popularly talked about shows such as Romapuri Pandian, Tenpandi Singham, Ramanujar; Krishnadasi; Pen Nineithal; Uravugal; Bhairavi; Bhakthavijayam; Suryaputhri etc. Thereby she is an epitome and stands as a living testament for upholding the Tamil ethos and culture through the form of arts and entertainment. She is also one of the few producers to have successfully established herself in Hindi, Telugu and other languages having worked across TV formats and now also engaging in many projects in the evolving digital medium such as web series and web movies for leading companies like – Jio, Alt Balaji, Applause Entertainment, Amazon, Voot etc.

As a prolific producer, she has inspired and turned the lives of several artists and technicians across South Indian Film and TV industry over the years. Almost about 50% of the people actively working in today’s television and film industry, in any department, were mentored and introduced by her. Be it acting, production, direction, stage performances, her commitment to the arts and her contributions as one of the leading producers & entrepreneur in media, she has been widely praised all around the world. Having produced several programmes and serials for regional, national and international channels, for both satellite and terrestrial, she has created a proud library of over 36,000 hours of programming and is a brand name & a prominent household name in the Indian media landscape.

Her philanthropic works knows no bounds. Besides running her own trust Mithralaya, she also encourages several new sports people from below income level and gives them free coaching especially in cricket through her Kreeda, A sports foundation. Mrs. Kutty Padmini also preaches good values, lifestyles and morals, at the Puzhal Jail for several prisoners who haven’t seen the light of the day for many years now.
