Jeffrey M. Fanning was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1982. He received his BA in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and his MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) certificates from Microsoft.
In 1989, his family relocated to Massachusetts and the start of his new life began. After high school, Jeffrey became the youngest Area Manager for Northeast Support Services. After several successful transitions in merchandising, he pursued a new career in Information Technology. Once he acquired his MCSA, he became a network and system administration for a small organization in Boston.
In 2013, he joined Optos, Inc. which designs devices that use ultra wide field imaging to determine the health of patients retinas. As a Field Specialist, Jeffrey coordinated projects and worked with the engineering team to provide strong growth in the service field. After two years, he was promoted to Senior Field Specialist. In this field, he oversaw the growth of the field service operations in North America with an organization set on becoming the strongest retina company globally.
In his personal life, Jeffrey enjoys exciting new adventures with his wife and Siberian husky, Kado. As a sports enthusiast, he grew up playing all four major American sports and pursued American Football while in school. In his downtime, he devotes much of his free time to fitness related activities and also loves watching a good movie. He is known to be witty and a great conversationalist who enjoys being surrounded by family and friends.
